How to make a Car Insurance claim

What to do in an accident

Stay calm and communicate

If anyone involved in the accident is injured, call the Police. Exchange contact and identification details with the other party. 

Do not admit liability, sign a promissory note agreeing to pay for damages or allow a towing service to take your car away.

Report the incident within 24 hours

Call our Emergency Assistance at +65 6333 2222 to start the claims process. We are here for you.

Make the report regardless of whether your car is damaged or if you intend to claim on your own policy.

We'll take care of you

We can send help to you and help you with your accident reporting*. Or file the accident report at any of our Singlife Approved Repairers during office hours.

If your car can't be driven, we can arrange to tow it to the nearest Singlife Approved Repairer and ensure you are transported safely to where you need to go. 

 

*Not applicable for Motor Lite plan.

How to make a Travel Insurance claim

Make sure to submit your claim within 7 days of the incident or as soon as reasonably possible.

Mail us your original documents

We strongly encourage online submission of claims so you can enjoy a faster claims process.
 

For claims that require reimbursements for upfront expenses paid (medical receipts, purchase receipts, etc.), indicate your policy number on your original documents and submit to:

We'll be in touch

You'll receive an acknowledgement email from us within 3 working days after your claims submission. If we need further information, we'll get in touch within 60 working days. 

Once your claim is approved, you'll receive an email. Your claim payout will be paid via PayNow within 3 business days.

Please ensure that your PayNow account is registered under your NRIC in order to receive the payment successfully.

Otherwise, the bank will mail you a physical cheque.

How to make a Personal Accident claim

Submit your claim as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than 30 days after the incident.

Before you fix any issues and engage a contractor, get in touch with us. Make sure you submit your claim within 7 days of the incident.
