Important Notes

Here is a list of standard underwriting guidelines of our non-preferred risks:

  1. We do not underwrite if the vehicle tonnage is more than 5 tonnes.
  2. We do not underwrite if the vehicle is used to carry hazardous goods / hire and reward.
  3. We do not underwrite if the vehicle is more than 15 years old.
  4. We do not underwrite if the customer has been declined previously or had their policy terminated by any insurer.
  5. We do not underwrite if there are more than 2 claims in the past 3 years
  6. Certain nature of businesses may be declined or loaded with higher premiums, such as:

    a. Construction
    b. Gas Supply
    c. Junk dealers & Garbage Removal
    d. Motor Trade / Repair Activities
    e. Transport & Storage
    f. Water Supply & Waste Management
    g. Security Firms

What to do in an accident

    Stay calm and communicate

    If anyone involved in the accident is injured, call the Police. Exchange contact and identification details with the other party.

    Report the incident within 24 hours

    Call our Emergency Assistance at +65 6333 2222 to make a report and start the claims process. We are here for you.
     

    Make the report regardless of whether your vehicle is damaged or if you intend to claim on your own policy.

    We'll take care of you

    We can send help to you and help you with your accident report! Or file the accident report at any of our Singlife Approved Repairers during the workshop's operating hours.
     

    If your vehicle can't be driven, we can arrange to tow it to the nearest Singlife Approved Repairer and ensure you are transported safely to where you need to go.
